Giovanna Antonella DINO, environmental engineer and PhD in environmental geo-engineering, research assistant at the Earth Sciences Department- University of Torino. Currently she is also a member of the Board of Director at CIDIU S.P.A. (Public enterprise dealing with waste management and recycling). Her research activity focuses mainly on issues related to the circular economy, landfill mining, sustainable mining and promotion and dissemination of heritage stones and. Involved, also as Project Manager, in several national and international projects concerning the aforementioned research themes. From January to May 2019 involved as external technical expert (for issues related to sustainable mining and the circular economy) for the TEG dealing with the implementation of the European Commission's Sustainable Finance Action Plan. Since 2001 she has been publishing more than 100 scientific papers and abstracts. She has been involved, as a speaker and/or chair, in more than 30 national and international conferences.

Dr. Jing YU is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He obtained his BEng degree from Zhejiang University (China) and his PhD degree from HKUST. He got various awards and scholarships during his undergraduate and graduate studies including the Fulbright Research Scholar Award and the Chinese National Outstanding Graduate Award. His research mainly focuses on Sustainable and Advanced Cement-based Materials.

Dr. Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an Associate Researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the Built Environment and Master of Philosophy degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from University of El Menoufia, Egypt, BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the National Council for Research/Energy Research Institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for National Water Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book WHO’S WHO in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 300 review articles, 18 books and 200 chapters in books.

I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM. I am graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) with a Bachelor Science of Environmental and Occupational Health degree in 2003, and Master of Environmental Management (2006) and Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Sciences (2011) from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. My main research area is on environmental health modeling and waste management.
